My practice is an multi-disciplinary exploration of memory, time, space, and the body. Primarily I am a writer of multiple genres; I am an essayist, a poet, and a fiction writer. However, I am a poet before anything which is to also say I am a student of the future; of that utopian feeling that is also a devastating longing to want to be nothing and everything.

I approach writing with the goal of activating an unexpected possibility. How can I name some experience or some place in a way that might add to its life by introducing it to something else? How can I reveal a language that brings a different world into view?

In addition to text, I am a dancer and choreographer, media maker, and visual artist.
